Business Development Representative

We are hiring a Business Development Representative based in the Kansas City area to expand and deepen DreamSeat's presence within the architectural, design, and construction community--with a primary focus on sports, arenas, and live event venues nationwide.

You'll be responsible for building real relationships with:

Architects and designers Specifiers and planners Contractors, construction managers, and key project influencers

What you'll do

Build, develop, and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and specifiers in Kansas City and nationally Proactively call on A&D firms, contractors, and project stakeholders, both locally and across the country Educate partners on DreamSeat's fixed seating and loose furniture solutions, with an emphasis on stadiums, arenas, and live event venues Identify projects early, influence specifications, and help guide opportunities through the design and construction lifecycle Collaborate closely with internal sales, design, and project teams to deliver a seamless customer experience Travel as needed to support relationships, project pursuits, and industry events Represent DreamSeat with confidence, credibility, and professionalism at industry events, meetings, and networking function

Skills and Qualifications

Self-starter, naturally driven and motivated by results Organized, and comfortable working independently in a territory-based role Excellent communication and presentation skills Willingness and ability to travel nationally as needed Curiosity, grit, and a strong sense of ownership Strong ability to build trust, credibility, and long-term professional relationships

Experience

Proven experience in business development, sales, or relationship-driven roles (construction, AEC, or related industries preferred) Experience calling on architects, designers, contractors, or specifiers (A&D experience strongly preferred) Background in commercial interiors, furniture, architectural products, building materials, or related industries
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
