What We are Looking for:




A successful candidate would be one who is eager to learn new skills, be customer focused, professional, and be detailed oriented. The Business Development Representative plays a vital role in ensuring there are plans in place to execute for effective work order management and completion. The Business Development Representative will work closely with all company locations to ensure employees have a safe, comfortable, and business friendly workplace. The Business Development Representative will oversee and be a liaison with service vendors and internal staff for preventive maintenance, facility work orders, custodial services, and other operational functions.

This is an in-office role in the DFW area.



Job Responsibilities:



Market Engagement:

Identify, visit, and establish relationships with businesses such as auto dealerships, tax offices, and community hubs that can drive insurance referrals.

Community Outreach:

Attend and represent ALPA at events, expos, and local forums to promote brand awareness and educate the public on insurance offerings.

Lead Generation:

Actively canvas and build an in-person presence in high-potential neighborhoods to generate new leads and opportunities.

Local Office Enablement:

Educate ALPA branch offices on local referral opportunities, canvassing strategies, and tactics for lead conversion. Reinforce best practices for following up on BDR-sourced leads.

Partnership Retention:

Routinely revisit and re-engage referral partners to ensure active collaboration and continued lead contribution.

Brand Representation:

Serve as a trusted field ambassador of ALPA Insurance, consistently delivering a professional, customer-first impression in all engagements.

Position Qualifications:



Education: Bachelor's preferred 2+ years of field sales, business development, or community relations experience (insurance preferred) Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and follow-up skills Proven ability to work independently and meet ambitious outreach goals Experience working with multicultural communities; bilingual (English/Spanish) required At least 50% travel outside of DFW strongly required Insurance license (Limited Lines, P&C) a plus
