Key Responsibilities
Pipeline Generation and Outreach
Research and identify prospective partners within target markets, priority states, and education sectors
Build, segment, and manage lead lists using HubSpot and external data sources
Execute outreach across email, LinkedIn, and phone to book qualified discovery and demo meetings
Qualify inbound and outbound leads against Torsh's ideal customer profile before handoff
Schedule and confirm meetings, ensuring a smooth and well-prepared transition to the BDM team
Follow up quickly on leads generated through conferences, webinars, and marketing campaigns
Test and refine outreach messaging, sequences, and scripts based on performance data and feedback
Monitor market signals, including funding trends and policy shifts, to support timely and relevant outreach
Sales Operations and Team Support
Conduct pre-meeting research and share account insights to support BDMs
Maintain accurate CRM records, including contact details, lead status, and activity tracking
Support proposal and contract preparation through formatting, version control, and status tracking
Partner with Marketing to ensure appropriate use of sales collateral and campaign follow-through
Track and report on key metrics such as meetings booked, lead quality, and pipeline contribution
Collaborate with Customer Success to identify expansion or referral opportunities within existing accounts
Position Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
1 to 3 years of experience in business development, inside sales, or other outbound-focused role
Demonstrated experience booking meetings through outbound outreach
Experience prospecting and initiating conversations with prospective customers
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
Strong follow-through and time management skills
Comfort working toward defined goals and performance metrics
Experience using a CRM to manage outreach and pipeline activity
Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, Asana, and Google Workspace is preferred
Ability to work independently in a remote environment

$60,000 base salary
