Job Description

Position Summary



This role is responsible for identifying and fostering relationships with businesses, organizations, and individuals to promote StagePoint's products and services. Develop a strategic plan for developing new business and provide tactical steps for implementation. Cultivate new and maintain existing relationships with all facets of corporate sponsorship, auto dealers, RV/boat and motorcycle dealers, realtors, etc. Increase membership and membership engagement with the credit union.

Essential Functions



1. Research the demographics of the credit union's field of membership and identify population groups underserved by the credit union and areas where focused time and resources can be placed to strategically grow membership.

2. Develop contact lists of potential new groups or members to reflect research.

3. Identify and cultivate partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and community groups to enhance brand visibility and credit union membership.

4. Contact prospective auto, recreational vehicle, and powersport dealers to increase dealer partnerships.

5. Meet with real estate agents, brokers, and builders to increase real estate lending.

6. Tell the StagePoint story to prospective and existing members to grow membership and deepen existing relationships.

7. Represent StagePoint at networking events, trade shows, and community initiatives to build relationships and promote services.

8. Collaborate with internal teams to develop marketing initiatives and sales strategies.

9. Conduct presentations and educational workshops for prospective members on credit union benefits, financial literacy, and business services.

10. Track and analyze business development activities, providing reports on performance metrics and market trends.

11. Maintain a thorough knowledge of credit union products, services, and competitive positioning in the financial marketplace.

12. Ensure compliance with credit union policies, regulations, and industry best practices.

13. Promote all products and services with cross-selling to meet members' needs.

14. Maintain an up-to-date contact tracking tool.

15. Examine the methods that are successful in developing business.

16. Assess the products that best meet member needs.

17. Maintain predictable attendance by consistently showing up on time to ensure work commitments are consistently met.

Education & Experience



1. High school diploma or GED.

2. One year of marketing/sales experience.

3. Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

4. Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies.

5. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.

6. Proficient with Microsoft Office.

7. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to meetings, training sessions or conferences.

1. Associate or bachelor's degree.

Job Type: Full-time

Projected Total Compensation: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
