Position Summary



FreshDirect Business is seeking a driven

B2B Business Development Manager

to support growth across

NY, NJ, and CT

. You will focus on acquiring new business customers and strategic partnerships through strong prospecting, relationship-building, and follow-through. The ideal candidate is hungry, results-oriented, and passionate about driving success for customers, the organization, and themselves.



What You'll Do



Prospect, build pipelines, and acquire

large new business accounts

. Identify

high-value targets

by industry, title, location, and related criteria. Conduct follow-up on high-value

warm leads

from registered but non-buying prospects. Maintain a strong

sales mindset

, identifying opportunities and driving activities to capture wallet-share growth. Execute

high-volume outbound calls, emails, and in-person visits

--primarily to cold, self-developed prospects--with effective communication strategies and probing techniques. Upsell, cross-sell, and promote usage of major product categories including

Fruit, Dairy, Snacks, Beverages, Catering, and Alcohol

. Organize and attend events to support

partnership development

. Document all activity--calls, emails, meetings--in

Salesforce

. Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and analytics partners to identify trends and support multi-channel sales and marketing strategies. Serve as the

voice of the customer

, sharing insights and opportunities with cross-functional teams. Participate in special projects related to broader business development initiatives.

What You'll Bring



3-5 years of successful B2B sales experience

, ideally within the New York metropolitan area. Proven ability to drive

prospect revenue growth

and expand

wallet share

. Food or office product sales experience is a plus. Strong self-motivation and a passion for achieving and exceeding targets. Demonstrated success meeting outbound call and outreach metrics. Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, follow-up, and closing skills. Openness to new ideas and process optimization. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to thrive in a

fast-paced environment

. Proficiency in

Microsoft Office Suite

(Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word). Familiarity with

Salesforce

and

ZoomInfo

is a plus.

SALARY RAMGE $72,665-$80,000
