Position Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new business opportunities by developing and maintaining relationships with insurance companies, adjusters, property managers, and property owners. This role requires a deep understanding of water mitigation, emergency restoration services, and the insurance claims process. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who excels at networking, sales, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Lead Generation
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the restoration industry.
Establish and maintain relationships with insurance adjusters, property managers, and other key stakeholders.
Attend networking events, trade shows, and industry meetings to promote company services.
Develop and execute strategies to increase referrals and partnerships.

Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary contact for clients throughout the restoration process.
Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring timely communication and resolution of client concerns.
Educate clients on restoration processes, timelines, and expectations.
Ensure client satisfaction and foster longterm relationships.

Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align business goals and sales initiatives.
Track and report key sales metrics, including lead generation and conversion rates.
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within the restoration, construction, or insurance industry.
Strong knowledge of water mitigation, property restoration, and the insurance claims process.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating with crossfunctional teams.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Ability to travel locally for client meetings, networking events, and site visits.
