Job Summary As a Business Analyst, you will prepare system requirements, develop user stories, coordinate system testing, training manuals and SharePoint documentation management.







We are looking for Business Analyst to prepare system requirements, develop user stories, coordinate system testing, training manuals and SharePoint documentation management. This position will be contract and hybrid in Trenton, NJ .



What You'll Do



Analyze existing program units, business process alignment with unit business functions, system analysis interfaces with their capabilities through open-ended discussions, facilitate brainstorming sessions



Define objectives and scope of business system by creating BRDs and FRDs documents for mockups



Gather requirements from program staff, SME, and end-users through meetings to understand needs of the system



Participate in design review meetings and translate the requirements to the IT vendor development team and guide team when issues related to business requirements arise



Be involved with project team in developing project deliverables timelines



Work closely with leads to monitor progress and deliverables for the project



Create Use Case diagrams using MS Visio



Gather all the required information related to the incoming data and data sources



Create thorough data analysis documents to gather accurate data for the rewrite of the system and to demolish the bad data



Perform Gap analysis by identifying existing systems, documenting the enhancements to meet the state requirements



Gather requirements for creating the mockups for the redesign of the application



Draft statistical reports to assist Director in decision making



Collaborate with team members to understand organizational and operational challenges



Ensure all project documentation is complete, current, and appropriately stored



Works closely with project managers and other team members to provide project status updates, keeping management aware of any risks, issues, or problems that may arise



Create meeting agendas to formalize topics for discussion and share meeting minutes for review



What You'll Need



Required:



Minimum 4 years' experience writing RFP/RFQs for vendor solicitation



Minimum 2 years' experience functioning as a Business Analyst in evaluating submitted RFPs for scoring and fit for project



Minimum 5 years' experience gathering requirements for creating the mockups for the redesign of software applications



Minimum 5 years' experience working closely with project managers and other team members to provide project status updates, keeping management aware of any risks, issues, or problems



Minimum 2 years' experience creating meeting agendas to formalize topics for discussion and share meeting minutes for review



Minimum 5 years' experience defining objectives and scope of business system by creating BRDs and FRDs documents for mockups



Minimum 5 years' experience gathering requirements from program staff, SME, and end-users through meetings to understand needs of the system



Minimum 4 years' experience creating use case diagrams using MS Visio



Minimum 5 years' experience performing Gap analysis by identifying existing system, documenting the enhancements to meet the state requirements



Physical Demands



Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards



Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.



Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor

$68.50 p/h - $76.50 p/h

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access.
