Job Description

Position Overview:

The Business Analyst acts as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to support the implementation of a project that improves fraud detection and data sharing for CMS and state partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Gather and document business and technical requirements for API integrations. Translate fraud detection and program integrity needs into functional specifications. Facilitate workshops with CMS, Medicaid, OIG, and law enforcement stakeholders. Develop use cases, data flow diagrams, and process documentation. Support API testing, validation, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Ensure requirements align with CMS interoperability and compliance mandates. Track issues, risks, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills:

Business and systems analysis in healthcare or government environments Experience with data integration and APIs Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid operations preferred

Education:

Bachelor's degree and SAFe Agile Certification are required.

Must be a US Citizen OR Green card and have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years.
