Job Description

As a Business Analyst with Resource Data, you will support clients with the delivery of technical solutions by gathering and organizing business information, assisting with requirements documentation, and contributing to testing and implementation efforts. This is a collaborative role that works to ensure that project tasks are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget, helping to align system functionality with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business and user needs to create systems solutions that support client business strategies Documenting solution requirements, defining scope and objectives, and assisting in the creation of system specifications that drive system development and implementation Assisting in execution of testing and development of test documentation Collecting information through subject matter interviews, business documents, project notes, and other contextual information

Basic Qualifications

2+ years' experience in a role involving stakeholder management, gathering project needs, process/workflow documentation, writing for technical audiences, or other related experience Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Effective written and verbal communication Ability to build rapport and earn trust with client teams

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a closely related field Worked directly with clients in a consulting role Familiarity with writing user stories and test documentation in a project setting Certifications: IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional, Technical Writing Certification, PMI - Agile
