Duties

Safely operate buses to transport passengers along designated routes, adhering to schedules and traffic laws while ensuring passenger safety at all times Conduct pre-trip inspections of buses, checking brakes, lights, fluid levels, and mechanical systems to ensure vehicle safety and readiness Perform routine maintenance tasks including basic repairs, fluid changes, tire checks, and cleaning to maintain vehicle performance Assist with facilities maintenance duties such as plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting using schematics, and residential painting as needed Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics to troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues within vehicles or facility systems Supervise or assist with facilities upkeep including custodial tasks, safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with health standards Support customer service initiatives by providing friendly assistance to passengers and addressing their needs professionally

Experience

Proven experience operating commercial vehicles or buses with a clean driving record Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance or repair work involving electrical systems, or plumbing Experience in facilities maintenance including residential painting, general repairs, or manufacturing environments is highly desirable Supervising or leadership experience in maintenance teams or customer service roles demonstrates your ability to guide others effectively Excellent communication skills in English for clear instructions and safety protocols

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 - 32.0 per week
