Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Bus Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting residents to their destinations while providing excellent customer service as well as providing maintenance assistance at the facility when not transporting residents.

Duties

Safely operate a bus to transport passengers on designated routes. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, ensuring it is in safe operating condition. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a comfortable travel experience. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Engage in facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of the bus. Share on-call responsibilities with other maintenance department workers.

Experience

Proven experience as a Bus Driver or in a similar driving role is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with maintenance tasks related to vehicles and/or facilities. Ability to communicate effectively in English; additional language skills are beneficial. Driver's License Required

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
