Bus Driver

Next Generation Child Care is located in South Omaha. We help children build on their strengths and interests while producing a solid foundation where they can develop their future through technology and other skills.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Van Driver to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Transport employees and customers between Next Generation Childcare and Preschool locations Receive and distribute mail on a daily basis Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues Plan routes and meet schedules Provide excellent customer service Maintain a clean vehicle Process customer's vehicle insurance information and provide coverage for repairs Comply with all safety rules and regulations, including the use of protective equipment in work places (e.g. factories, plants, airports, hospitals) Load, unload, prepare and maintain paperwork and records Participate in our Driver Safety Program and drive safely to avoid accidents Complete daily log entries and ensure the vehicle is clean for each trip Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license Must have a clean driving record from previous employment(s) with the same type of vehicle(s) Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check(s) Minimum 1 year van driving experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Experience:

Commercial driving: 1 year (Preferred)
