Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and dependable Party Bus Driver to operate various types of buses, including school buses, paratransit vehicles, motor coaches, and shuttle buses. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a solid understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety protocols. This role involves transporting passengers safely and efficiently while providing a positive experience for all riders. Candidates with experience in delivery driving, limousine services, or commercial driving are encouraged to apply. A valid driver's license and good communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Safely operate different types of buses such as party buses, paratransit vehicles, motor coaches, and shuttle buses according to schedules and routes. Ensure the safety of passengers by adhering to traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies. Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers with boarding and disembarking, answering questions, and maintaining a friendly demeanor. Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition; report any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain cleanliness of the bus interior and exterior; perform basic maintenance tasks when necessary. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers using clear communication skills to coordinate routes and address passenger needs. Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and other required documentation. Follow all safety protocols related to COVID-19 or other health guidelines to ensure passenger and driver safety.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving or bus driving certification preferred. Experience in bus driving, shuttle driving, limousine services, or delivery driving is highly desirable. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus. Prior experience with paratransit services or motor coach operation is advantageous. Strong communication skills in English; ability to interact professionally with diverse passengers. Knowledge of traffic laws, safety regulations, and best practices for passenger transportation. Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on safety and professionalism.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
