Duties
Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company standards.
Lead, motivate, and train team members in food preparation, customer service, and safety protocols.
Oversee food safety practices, proper food handling, and sanitation procedures to maintain compliance with health regulations.
Manage inventory control, including stock levels of food, supplies, and equipment; assist with ordering and receiving shipments.
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
Ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed by staff during shifts.
Monitor kitchen operations including cooking, food production, and presentation to meet quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment; enforce safety policies to prevent accidents.
Assist in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new staff members.
Support management in implementing promotional activities and ensuring excellent customer service.
Handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally to uphold the restaurant's reputation.
Experience
Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision within quick-service or casual dining environments.
Strong background in food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety standards.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred.
Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams in fast-paced settings.
Previous experience with inventory control, budgeting, or food industry management is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff effectively and manage shift operations confidently.
