Job Description

The General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations in a building supply and materials center. This role requires a strategic, hands-on leader who can drive performance, strengthen customer relationships, and maintain operational excellence across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations to ensure a safe, organized, and customer-focused environment. Develop and oversee budgets, sales goals, and business strategies to meet performance targets. Analyze financial and operational data to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency. Supervise purchasing, inventory control, and merchandising to maintain optimal stock levels. Lead and coach team members, promoting accountability, engagement, and professional growth. Build and maintain strong customer and vendor relationships to support business development. Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and company standards.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing, building supply, or industrial operations. Strong knowledge of construction materials, distribution, and inventory management. Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and execute business plans. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with management software and reporting systems.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
