As our workload grows throughout the NYC market, we are seeking a dedicated Engineer to join our expanding team.

We are an engineering and building services company looking for a reliable, hands-on Building Maintenance Technician to support ongoing repair and maintenance work in commercial and residential buildings. Most work is performed in basements, mechanical rooms, and parking garages.

This role is focused on basic repair work and does not require a plumbing or masonry license.

Responsibilities

Perform basic plumbing tasks such as patching small pipe holes, sealing, drilling, and minor repairs Patch and repair concrete surfaces, including parking garage slabs, columns, and walls Assist with minor structural and surface repairs Use basic power tools (drill, grinder, mixer, etc.) safely and effectively Perform general building maintenance and repair tasks as needed Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow site safety rules and instructions from supervisors

Qualifications

Prior experience in building maintenance, construction, handyman work, or repair trades preferred Basic knowledge of plumbing and concrete repair is required Experience working in parking garages, basements, or mechanical spaces is a plus Comfortable with physical work and job-site conditions Able to work independently and follow instructions Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
