Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, dependable maintenance engineer for a hotel in the El Dorado, AR area.

Principle Job Activities

:

Ensure the best possible lodging experience for each guest of the property, within and using the Preventative Maintenance Program (PMP) operating guidelines as your tool Follow grooming and appearance guidelines set forth by management Wear the provided uniform and name tag at all times, for easy identification to guests Submit a "supplies needed" list to the General Manager on Friday's for submission to home office on Monday--should contain any items required to complete your duties/tasks Install small maintenance items as needed for repairs Complete tasks and assignments on the daily maintenance checklist Complete all maintenance request forms within 24 hours of receipt Complete PMP in a timely manner Respond to maintenance emergencies timely, on a 24 hour call basis Practice safe working conditions, following all guidelines provided by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and all procedures when blood-borne pathogens are present Practice safe chemical handling, following guidelines provided on the Material Safety and Data Sheet (MSDS) located in the MSDS binder Perform other duties as assigned by Property Manager Clear trash from parking lot, dumpster, and yard daily Empty property trash receptacles on an as needed basis Sweep and clean (using power washer, if necessary) sidewalks, under canopy, and parking lot (use leaf blower as needed) Paint walls, ceilings, doors, and window trim as needed Provide preventative maintenance to 2 rooms each day Ensure preventative maintenance in lightning, electrical circuits and wiring, plumbing, HVAC, guest room walls, appliances, doors and locks, furniture, carpet (remove stains), and all other floor coverings

These activities are the primary ones that a maintenance engineer is required to complete. Maintenance staff is also expected to help in other areas and may be responsible for additional activities as delegated by the property manager or members of the home office management team
