About the Role:

Custom Glass Solutions is seeking a reliable individual to join our Maintenance Team! The Maintenance & Grounds Tech will be responsible for maintaining the building, equipment and outdoor grounds of our facility and the outside grounds to ensure a safe, clean and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on building maintenance experience, strong attention to detail, and proven ability to operate a skid steer/steer loader for winter snow removal. As unique situations present themselves the successful candidate must be sensitive to customer needs, corporate goals and company reputation. The selected candidate will interface with all production areas at our Upper Sandusky, OH location.

Perform routine building maintenance, including minor repairs, painting, and general facility cleaning. Maintain and repair facility structures, doors, windows, and shop equipment as needed. Conduct preventative maintenance on tools, machinery, and facility systems. Monitor and report any safety concerns or required repairs. Maintain exterior areas including lawns, landscaping, parking lots, loading areas, and walkways. Perform seasonal tasks such as mowing, trimming, leaf removal, snow removal and general grounds upkeep. Perform routine checks and light maintenance on assigned equipment. Assist with material handling, facility clean-up, and shop organization as needed. Work closely with production and management teams to support operational needs. Follow all company safety procedures and contribute to a clean, hazard-free workspace.

You will succeed in this position if you:

Hold 2-3 years Building & Grounds Maintenance experience in a manufacturing workplace. Skid steer/steer loader operation experience required, including snow removal. Demonstrate values and behaviors which are aligned with CGS Principles and culture. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong work ethic, reliability, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license; equipment operation certifications a plus. Are wiling to work overtime during snow events.
