Buerkle Automotive , the premier Twin Cities Hyundai Dealer, is looking for highly motivated self-starters to join our team-orientated Hyundai service department as a:


Full-Time Express Service Advisor

Performance Pay Plan! You are in control of your bonus! (Potential to exceed $75,000/year) Same schedule every week! Schedule Includes Saturdays. 4- 10 hours per day.

Mid-level position - excellent opportunities for career growth and advancement! This is a 'feeder' position that many of our career senior Service Advisors started at.

Job Duties include:


Create vehicle repair orders for regular maintenance and minor repairs. Describe available options, compute cost and time estimates, and accept payment while maintaining high customer satisfaction standards.

Handle customers efficiently and effectively from appointment to pick up. Properly document customer requests for communication to technicians. Advise customers of needed work and help them make informed decisions. Progress check repair orders throughout the day. Book repair orders making sure everything is correct and complete. Quality check work making sure it is fixed right the first time. Inform customer when work is complete, inform customer what was done and why, and make future recommendations.

Service writing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Customer service skills:

Service Advisors deal with suppliers, provide estimates and schedule appointments, so being courteous and friendly is essential. They also need to be able to handle customer complaints diplomatically and politely.

Communication skills:

As a liaison between the customer and technician, a Service Advisor needs to be able to clearly explain the technician's repair recommendations to customers while communicating customer needs to technicians.

Comprehension skills:

Service Advisors should be able to comprehend customers questions and concerns as well as what is being said when technicians give complex service recommendations.

Engineering and mechanical expertise:

Having extensive knowledge in these areas is essential when looking over complex technical documents, ordering online and speaking with technicians.

Troubleshooting skills:

Service Advisors need to be able to think on their feet and quickly resolve issues when customers change their minds about service work, repairs are running behind schedule or parts arrive late. *

Math and writing skills:

Service Advisors prepare and calculate estimates so having good math and writing skills are an essential part of the job.
