Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old Must be able to pass a criminal background check (cannabis-related offenses acceptable) Available to work days, nights, weekends, and some holidays Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written High school diploma or equivalent Ability to stand for extended periods Strong teamwork, professionalism, and reliability Ability to follow directions and maintain a clean, organized workspace Knowledgeable about cannabis products or willing to learn

Responsibilities

Customer Service:

Greet customers, identify their needs, answer product questions, and provide personalized recommendations.

Product Knowledge:

Maintain up-to-date understanding of strains, product types, consumption methods, and industry regulations.

Sales & Upselling:

Assist customers in selecting products and promote specials to enhance the shopping experience.

Compliance:

Follow all state and local cannabis laws, verify IDs, and adhere to dispensary policies.

POS Operations:

Accurately process transactions, handle cash and electronic payments, and balance cash drawers.

Inventory:

Stock shelves, track inventory levels, and report discrepancies.

Cleanliness & Presentation:

Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and properly merchandised.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with fellow budtenders, shift leads, and managers to support smooth daily operations.

Security:

Stay alert and follow all safety and security procedures.

Continuous Learning:

Stay updated on new products, industry trends, and compliance requirements.
