HIGHLY is seeking a dependable and personable

Budtender

to join the team at our newest location, in Eliot, Maine!

This position requires

night

and

weekend

availability, with an average of 35-40 hours per week.

Budtenders use their existing cannabis knowledge to assist customers in selecting products, while remaining compliant with all adult use regulations. You don't have to know everything on Day 1 - gaining product knowledge is part of the job! Budtenders are skilled at providing the best possible experience for our customers, assist with processing delivered product to be sold and keep the sales floor and common areas clean and orderly.

Responsibilities

include but are not limited to:

Provide quality customer service that encourages customer loyalty Keep learning and staying up to date on knowledge of cannabis products, strains, consumption methods, and other industry terminology. Compliance with local and state regulations, including age verification and product handling Utilize point of sale software to check in customers and sell products Handle cash payments with accuracy Work with the team to help keep things positive and welcoming for everyone Assist with maintaining the store's appearance to include cleaning and organizing Sticker product inventory and other procedures accurately and in accordance with SOP's

Required and Preferred Qualifications

- Must be at least 21 years old, as required by state law

- Able to accommodate scheduling expectations including

weekend, evening, holiday shifts and inclement weather

- Reliable transportation is required

- Capability to stand for 8-10-hour shifts (required)

- Strength to lift and carry boxes, up to 50 pounds (required)

- Able to perform repetitive motions

- Ability to obtain an Individual Identification Card from Maine Office of Cannabis Policy

To work at HIGHLY - or any recreational cannabis business in Maine, you'll need an Individual Identification Card (IIC) issued by the Maine Office of Cannabis Policy. To obtain an IIC, you will complete an application and pay the required fee. HIGHLY reimburses the IIC fee for successful candidates after 60 days of employment.
