Job Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Budtender to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, educate customers about our products, and ensure a welcoming shopping experience. This role requires a strong understanding of retail sales, product knowledge, and excellent communication skills. The Budtender will play a key role in promoting products through demos and upselling while maintaining compliance with all regulations.

Duties

Assist customers in selecting products based on their needs and preferences, providing detailed product information and demos when appropriate Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring proper merchandising standards Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer service and phone etiquette Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about new or featured items Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail space, ensuring compliance with safety standards Handle cashiering duties accurately and efficiently during busy periods

Requirements

Prior experience in retail sales, preferably in grocery stores or similar environments Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and balancing registers Experience with POS systems and cashiering procedures Demonstrated customer service skills with professional phone etiquette Ability to upsell products tactfully to enhance customer satisfaction and store revenue Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and product demos is beneficial Must be reliable, responsible, and able to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment
