About the position...

As a transportation broker, you will be working individually and with trucking companies to move our customers' freight, providing support to carrier teams, track shipments, provide customer updates, and resolve issues as needed.



Also responsible for prospecting and converting leads into new customers and assisting customers with requests for quotes.

Role and Responsibilities:

Grow new and existing business utilizing all services available



Strong price negotiations to grow sustainable and profitable business relationships



Provide customers with the most efficient and safe mode of transportation



Increase revenues and improve profitability



Anticipate service impacts and implement solutions



Communicate with Customer Service concerning ETA & availability

What we're looking for...

Previous transportation/logistics experience is preferred, but not required



Strong organizational and time management skills

Basic computer knowledge

#

Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Positive attitude and a desire to learn and thrive
