Bachoco OK Foods is seeking a Broiler Service Technician for our Fort Smith, AR operations.

Summary:
Acts as a liaison between OK Farms and contract broiler producers by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Provides technical service to contract broiler producers.
• Maintains feed inventories.
• Reports mortality.
• Administers medications and vaccines.
• Responsible for the placement of baby chicks in an optimum environment.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor\'s degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should know Spreadsheet software.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Must have a valid driver\'s license and qualify for the company driving program.
