About the Role
Arthur + Lucca is seeking an experienced
Bridal Tailor
to join our team as an independent contractor. This role is ideal for a professional who values precision, artistry, and the craft of couture-level alterations.
Responsibilities
Perform advanced bridal alterations with accuracy and care
Execute
complex bodice work
, including boning, illusion mesh, applique, and beading
Complete
lace and horsehair hems
with precision and proportion
Handle delicate fabrics and embellishments with expert craftsmanship
Collaborate with fittings staff to ensure each gown achieves a flawless fit
Qualifications
Proven experience in bridal or couture tailoring
Strong technical knowledge of garment construction and finishing
Skilled in hand and machine sewing techniques
Exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship
Professional, dependable, and organized
Eligible to work as a 1099 independent contractor
Flexible weekly schedules and very flexible shift start/stop/break times.
1099 Contract Role - Work as much or as little as you like (it's okay to have a job somewhere else too!)
