Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Bricklayer / Mason Tender to support masonry and construction projects on-site. Large projects including New Apartment Brick. This role involves assisting skilled masons with various tasks related to bricklaying and tuckpointing. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow. Pay is determined by experience, open to hire both apprentice and experienced mason.

Responsibilities

Assist masons with preparing and mixing mortar, concrete, and other materials for bricklaying and masonry work Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently Maintain a clean and organized work site to ensure safety and efficiency Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on-site

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and masonry equipment Familiarity with schematics and construction estimating is a plus Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites Prior experience in masonry or related trades such as carpentry or roofing is advantageous Willingness to learn new skills related to restoration, renovation, or specialized masonry techniques

Pay: $24.80 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
