The Fairfield by Marriott in Vadnais Heights is looking for a Breakfast Supervisor/Manager. We are looking for the friendliest and happiest person for this position. We are looking for an individual who likes to interact with both guests and co-workers while providing the highest quality of service:

Job Responsibilities

:

Greet and acknowledge all guests as they arrive for breakfast

Ensure that food is continually replenished and presented in an appealing manner

Promote and educate guests on breakfast options

Set up breakfast according to operational policies and standards

Maintain, clean and organize dining and kitchen prep areas

Adhere to Marriott Brand Standards and Local Health Department requirements

Hire, train and evaluate breakfast staff.

Place weekly orders to maintain appropriate stock of breakfast food and supplies

Schedule staff according to needs while maintaining efficiency, service and budgets

Complete monthly inventories

Qualifications

:

MUST BE CERTIFIED IN FOOD SAFETY AND HANDLING, OR WILLING TO COMPLETE CERTIFICATION WITHIN THE FIRST 90 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT

Highly organized

Must possess a thorough knowledge of guest service and satisfaction

Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written

Must possess basic computer skills

Position:

This is a full-time position requiring between 32-40 hours/week with benefits and employee discounts at Marriott Hotels (one of the largest hotel companies in the world). Our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days/ year so weekend and holiday availability is required.
