Responsibilities
Prepare and serve breakfast items with efficiency and care, ensuring food safety standards are met at all times
Set up breakfast stations, including arranging utensils, condiments, and food displays to create an appealing presentation
Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, assembling, or garnishing dishes as needed
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen stations, and equipment through regular cleaning routines including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces
Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process guest transactions accurately and efficiently
Support catering or banquet setups when required, including delivering food to event spaces or assisting with special functions
Provide excellent guest service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating dietary requests with professionalism
Handle cash transactions responsibly, including cash handling and balancing registers at shift end
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy breakfast hours
Follow all food safety protocols related to food handling, storage, and preparation to ensure health standards are maintained
Requirements
Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles such as host/host, server, or catering assistant is highly desirable
Knowledge of kitchen operations including basic food preparation and cooking techniques
Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for cashiering duties
Experience in banquet settings or catering environments is a plus
Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently while maintaining a high standard of hygiene
Strong communication skills with a friendly phone etiquette when interacting with guests or team members
Customer service orientation with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
Basic knife skills and familiarity with food handling safety procedures are advantageous
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment confidently
