Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Bread Baker to join our bakery team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality bread and baked goods, ensuring consistency, freshness, and presentation. This role requires culinary expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety standards. The Bread Baker will contribute to creating a welcoming environment for customers and support the overall operations of our bakery.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a variety of bread and baked products following established recipes and quality standards Mix, knead, proof, and shape dough with precision and consistency Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace in compliance with food safety regulations Assist with food preparation tasks including ingredient measurement and station setup Monitor baking times and oven temperatures to ensure optimal product quality Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation practices Support customer service efforts by providing knowledgeable assistance about products when required Package baked goods efficiently for sale or delivery while maintaining product

Experience

Previous experience in baking, pastry arts, or culinary environments is preferred Knowledge of cake decorating techniques and pastry presentation is a plus Experience in food production, food preparation, or kitchen operations within the food industry or restaurant setting is advantageous Familiarity with food safety standards and proper knife skills for ingredient handling and decoration Background in catering or restaurant experience can be beneficial for understanding customer service expectations in a bakery context

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
