Job Description


The Brand Communications & PR Program Manager will support the development and execution of Plexus Worldwide\'s brand and product PR strategies. Leverage cross functional partnerships to support an ambitious communications and PR strategy expanding our license to operate and be recognized among the most reputable and influential direct selling companies. The Brand Communications & PR Program Manager will play a pivotal role in representing Plexus, shaping, and enhancing our product PR, fostering positive relationships with stakeholders, and effectively conveying our messaging to a variety of audiences.

What you\'ll do
  • Strategic Messaging: You develop and refine core messaging for Plexus, ensuring consistency and alignment with the company\'s values, mission, and goals.
  • Media Relations: You direct agencies, cultivate and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure positive coverage and manage any crisis communications effectively.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: You develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including industry partners, government entities, and community groups, to foster goodwill and enhance the company\'s reputation.
  • Content Creation: You create compelling and engaging product PR content, including press releases, articles, speeches, and presentations that effectively convey the company\'s narrative and key messages.
  • Digital and Social Media: You enhance the company\'s digital presence by partnering with social media, website content, and other online platforms to drive brand and product awareness and engagement.
  • Crisis Communication: You develop crisis communication plans, lead crisis response efforts, and provide timely and accurate communication to mitigate potential reputational risks.
  • Executive Communication Support: You assist Plexus executives in preparing for media interviews, public speaking engagements, and other external communication activities.
  • Measurement and Analysis: You monitor and analyze the effectiveness of communication strategies, gather insights from data, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
You should have
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
  • You have a minimum of 5 years\' experience related to supporting brand messaging and corporate public relations.
  • You have strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and compelling content for various communication channels.
  • You have the ability to analyze data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Experience working in the dietary supplement and/or the direct sales industries is strongly preferred.
