Customer Support Staff: Chicago

Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Staff to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing exceptional on-site support to customers, assisting them with their needs, and driving sales. This role requires a strong understanding of our products and services, as well as the ability to build rapport with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement:

Greet customers warmly and assist them in identifying their needs. Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to help customers make informed decisions.

Sales Support:

Actively promote and sell products on-site, ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded. Utilize effective sales techniques to drive revenue.

Product Demonstration:

Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase features and benefits, addressing any questions or concerns from customers.

Relationship Building:

Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals. Provide exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction.

Inventory Management:

Assist in maintaining the presentation of merchandise, ensuring that products are well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing.

Sales Reporting:

Keep accurate records of sales transactions and customer interactions. Prepare reports on sales performance as required.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to customer service and sales strategies.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in retail sales or a customer service role is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers. Basic understanding of sales principles and practices. Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays. Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handling cash transactions. A friendly, energetic personality with a strong customer service focus. This position may require standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights (up to 30 lbs).

Education:

* High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in marketing or related fields is a plus.
