SPF America is currently hiring a 1st shift Brake Press Operator for its Fort Smith, AR location. With an amazing work environment and great company culture, you will want to apply immediately so you do not miss out of this opportunity! Hours are 5:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday.

Summary

Operates brake press to form, flatten parts, or install hardware following job traveler requirements, which list machine settings for each operation by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Understand the safe operation of the equipment. Proper loading of parts with safety equipment including tongs, light curtains, etc (supervised) Knowledge and understanding of job traveler. Proper use of calipers/ protractor and height gage. Knowledge and understanding of drawings Basic machine maintenance Capable of bending scrap material
