HealBoston is a youth leadership development program that teaches civics, community service, community action, community responsibility, and COMMUNITY LOVE. * CIVICS * COMMUNITY SERVICE * COMMUNITY ACTION * COMMUNITY RESPONSIBILITY * COMMUNITY LOVE HEAL BOSTON HealBoston was born out of the perfect storm of both the Murder of George Floyd and the world halting, Covid-19 crisis. HB Kids for over two years amid a worldwide pandemic, both social and medical, have been fast at work, putting their energy into ways that remind us of our shared humanity. The kids hit the streets of each neighborhood well-equipped with PPE gear, masks, vigor, and pure heart. HB Ambassadors traversed each neighborhood in this city spreading positivity and being an example of the possibilities of a "Living Community." Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. The chief duties of youth workers are to develop supportive relationships with young people that introduce them to new experiences while working to increase their confidence, empathy and ambition and to help them realize their own potential. 2. To provide a caring, predictable, consistent and structured environment for children; to meet children\'s needs \xe2\x80\x94 physical, emotional, social, spiritual, educational. 3. Learn about peer education, establishing and maintaining healthy relationships with other young people and community. Knowledge of how young people develop during adolescence and appropriate support Trusted relationships and voluntary engagement of young people Understanding how to establish boundaries, challenging behavior and de-escalate conflict The importance of safeguarding in providing a safe environment for young people The Ideal Candidate for this Job:
