Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our accounting firm. This candidate will be responsible for maintaining monthly accounting of various small businesses. Must have ability to work with minimum supervision and work on various sets of accounting records.

Responsibilities

Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial statements. Utilize 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry and record management. Process weekly and monthly payroll, quarterly payroll reports, W2's, 1099's etc. Training available for Preparation of Tax Returns if necessary.

Qualifications

Degree in Accounting or experience preferred Proven experience in accounting is highly desirable. (Need not apply without experience) Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in account reconciliation processes and techniques. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment. Familiarity with accounting software QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is essential. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
