Overview


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee daily administrative and financial operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills, experience with various financial software, and a solid understanding of GAAP and bookkeeping principles. This role is essential in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining efficient office workflows, and supporting overall organizational health. The Office Manager will play a pivotal role in managing accounting functions, supervising administrative staff, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Duties



Manage and oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger activities. Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and journal entries to ensure accurate financial data. Utilize accounting software such as Sage, and other financial tools to maintain precise records. Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and governmental accounting regulations where applicable. Conduct budget preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis to support organizational planning. Maintain accurate bookkeeping records through double-entry bookkeeping practices and account analysis. Assist with tax preparation processes and ensure timely submission of required filings. Support internal audits by providing necessary documentation and reconciliation reports. Supervise administrative staff responsible for data entry, document management, and office operations. Develop workflows to improve efficiency in financial processes and office management tasks.

Skills



Extensive experience with accounting software such as Sage, and other financial tools. Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles including GAAP, double-entry bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliation. Proficiency in governmental accounting standards and tax regulations is a plus. Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable management, and payroll processing. Excellent understanding of financial concepts including account analysis, budgeting, general ledger accounting, and technical accounting practices. Skilled in financial report writing with attention to accuracy and detail. Proficient in 10-key typing for data entry tasks. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently. Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams and external auditors or vendors. Pay: $24.12 - $29.04 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
