Job Description

Greenlights Group is recruiting a qualified and experienced individual to work with our team. Alpine Financial Group, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Bookkeeper to manage financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent analytical skills. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for recording and reconciling financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

Duties and Responsibilities:



Financial Transactions: Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, bank deposits, and other financial activities. Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies. Financial Reports: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Accounts Management: Maintain and manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections. Expense Tracking: Track and categorize expenses, ensuring they are recorded accurately and in a timely manner. Record Keeping: Maintain organized and accurate financial records, both digital and physical, in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Payroll: Assist with payroll processing, including tracking employee hours, calculating wages, and ensuring timely and accurate payment. Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, providing financial insights and recommendations as needed. Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, company policies, and relevant regulations. Audit Preparation: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.

Qualifications / Skills:



Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks (online & desktop), Xero, Sage). Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer. Occasional lifting of files or office supplies up to twenty (20) pounds.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:



Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field. Bookkeeping certification (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) is a plus.
