Position Overview:

The Bookkeeper at Michigan Theater of Jackson plays a vital role in maintaining the

financial integrity of the organization. This position ensures all accounting practices

align with company policies, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and

applicable federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare accurate and timely accounting and financial reports and presentations Reconcile and balance accounts to ensure consistency and accuracy Verify, allocate, and post detailed company transactions Support financial and operational data analysis projects Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to guide decision-making Manage budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plans, and modeling tools Maintain accounting software and an up-to-date chart of accounts Input and verify financial data within the software system Establish and maintain organized, efficient systems for reliable financial reporting Serve as a liaison between the company and external vendors
