Trusted Home Buyers is a fast-growing real estate investment and home-buying company focused on efficiency, transparency, and delivering high-quality service to our clients and partners. We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Bookkeeper to support our financial operations and help streamline our internal processes. The ideal candidate has strong real estate financial experience and is comfortable working remotely with occasional in-person meetings, eventually transitioning to a primarily in-person role.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and track utilities, recurring payments, and vendor accounts.
Maintain strong organizational systems for financial and operational documents.
Handle payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
Oversee budgeting for projects, including renovations, rehabs, and marketing initiatives.
Perform accurate data entry, recordkeeping, and reconciliation.
Call vendors and companies for bids, quotes, and invoice verification.
Work closely with the marketing department on budgeting and expense tracking.
Log, track, and organize loan documents for all active and closed properties.
Review, interpret, and organize real estate settlement statements (HUD-1, ALTA, closing statements, etc.).
Prepare and deliver timely financial reports (P&L, balance sheets, project budgets, etc.).
Support the transition from remote to in-person operations when required.
Requirements
Experience with real estate bookkeeping is strongly preferred.
Must have experience reading and logging settlement statements.
Strong understanding of loan documents and real estate transactions.
Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Comfortable calling vendors and coordinating bids.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to attend in-person meetings during the transition period.
