The Premier Companies is a 20 person boutique commercial real estate management and investment firm based in Bethesda, MD. We manage and own a growing portfolio of office, flex, retail, and mixed-use properties across the Mid-Atlantic region. As we continue to expand, we're seeking a detail-oriented, team-focused professional to support our accounting and operations teams.

Position Overview:


This is a completely IN OFFICE position. We are looking for a full-time Bookkeeper and Administrative Support Specialist to provide essential AR/AP bookkeeping functions and administrative support in a collaborative work environment. This dual-role position will support both our accounting and property management teams and is ideal for someone who is comfortable managing multi-entity bookkeeping while also contributing to a variety of property-related administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:



Bookkeeping (50%)



Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for a multi-entity portfolio Process invoices, payments, and receivables across commercial properties Assist with financial reports and schedules as needed Support Controller and accounting team as needed

Administrative Support (50%)



Coordinate service and utility provider changes during property transitions Support onboarding of newly acquired assets and entity setup Prepare and manage administrative and operational records Provide general office support including correspondence, data entry, and filing

Qualifications:



Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience (AR/AP required) Proficiency with accounting or property management software such as Rent Manager, Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, or AvidXchange (a strong plus) Experience in commercial real estate accounting preferred Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel required) Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
