Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable Associate

The Muransky Companies is hiring a Bookkeeper / Accounts Payable Associte to support our accounting and finance team in Boardman, Ohio.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements including gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system. Calculate, prepare and enter various month-end and year-end journal entries during the close process. Reconcile various general ledger accounts monthly including bank accounts. Assist with corporate census reporting for various companies. Assist in special projects and reports as delegated for management. Build and maintain electronic spreadsheets as needed. Assist with processing invoices on a daily basis in our accounting software. Analyzing expense reports and determining proper accounts and cost centers. Creating 1099 reports at year end. Gather invoices for use tax on a monthly basis. Maintain fixed asset invoices based on the general ledger activity

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 year bookkeeping or accounts payable experience. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel.
