: This role supports both La Rosa Arts Center LLC, a for-profit business, and La Rosa Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works closely alongside the LLC. The position requires comfort working across separate entities with distinct accounting, reporting, and compliance needs.
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform accurate and timely data entry for invoices, sales transactions, payroll data, transfers, and bill payments
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable for both La Rosa Arts Center LLC and La Rosa Foundation
Prepare and process bill payments under the direction of leadership, ensuring proper allocation between entities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor and customer records for both entities
Prepare monthly financial statements, profit and loss reports, and custom financial reports for executive review
Prepare separate P&L reporting for La Rosa Arts Center LLC and La Rosa Foundation
Track and reconcile intercompany transactions between the for-profit LLC and the nonprofit foundation
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial statements for both entities
Maintain and organize clean and accurate charts of accounts for each entity
Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting for both the LLC and the Foundation
Prepare and send required reports to Performance Rights Organizations
Assist with nonprofit-specific reporting, including tracking restricted funds, donations, and grant-related income and expenses
Support documentation needs for audits, grant reporting, and nonprofit compliance as directed
Transcribe memos, policy materials, and letters as needed
Support general accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of two years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar
Experience managing multiple entities or separate sets of books
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential financial information with integrity
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Reliable transportation for commuting to our midtown Tucson office
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting restaurants, bars, music venues, or arts organizations
Experience working with 501(c)(3) nonprofits
Background in hospitality or multi-entity accounting
