As a
School-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
, you'll provide direct 1:1 support to students in school settings under the supervision of a BCBA. You'll implement individualized treatment and behavior plans, promote positive behaviors, and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to ensure student success.
What You'll Do
Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs
Provide 1:1 support during classroom activities, transitions, lunch, and recess
Use evidence-based strategies to reduce problem behaviors and teach replacement skills
Collect and maintain accurate data on student goals and progress
Provide daily documentation and regular progress updates
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and ancillary providers (e.g., PT, OT, Speech)
Participate in supervision meetings, staff trainings, and team discussions
Requirements
Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's in a human services field preferred)
At least 1 year of experience working with children/adolescents with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges preferred
Valid driver's license & reliable transportation
Ability to pass Idaho DHW criminal background & district background check (provided)
CPR/First Aid certification (provided if not current)
Professional Relationships
Demonstrate an understanding of behavior intervention programs for students with severe behavioral challenges by implementing individualized programs as directed by the teacher and/or supervisory staff.
Keep and maintain reliable and valid data on behavioral programs and systematic reinforcement systems.
Demonstrate an understanding of research based instructional strategies for students with severe behavioral challenges by implementing individualized strategies with reliability and validity
Adhere to State and Federal Guidelines, including Mandated Reporting, HIPAA, and Fraud, Waste and Abuse policies
Schedule
Option 1:
Monday-Friday | 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Option 2:
Monday-Friday | 8:45 AM - 3:45 PM

school calendar
with potential for summer hours
