Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Handle food items with care, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques are followed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Participate in catering events as needed, providing exceptional service to guests.
Utilize knife skills effectively for meal preparation, ensuring precision and safety.
Support the dietary department by assisting with special dietary needs and requests.
Requirements
Previous experience in a dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred.
Background inrestaurant settings is highly desirable.
Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food handling.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Experience in catering services is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to providing outstanding service.
