Join Our Team at Spitz Minneapolis!

We're currently hiring for back-of-house/kitchen PM staff positions at Spitz NE, a fast casual Mediterranean restaurant with a set menu. We're looking for energetic and reliable individuals to prepare customer orders, maintain a clean kitchen environment, and assist with light prep work.

Shifts looking to be filed total ~20-25 hours per week, and are afternoon/night shift focused.

Shifts to be filled include:

Monday 3PM - 9PM (support) Tuesday 4PM - 10PM (close) Saturday 5:00PM - 10:30PM (close) Sunday 4:00PM - 9:30PM (close)
Pay starts at $16.50 per hour and increases to $17.00 per hour after a successful 6-week review. Kitchen staff also receives 30% of all restaurant tips, ensuring hourly pay is a minimum of $20 per hour after the tip share is distributed. This means you'll never make less than $20 per hour.

Throughout the year, we also stay busy with our catering business, and if you are dependable and have a reliable car and availability, catering deliveries can become additional income.

If you're seeking a strictly cooking role in a sit-down restaurant, this may not be the best fit, as it requires many other responsibilities. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, completing cleaning tasks, following and memorizing menu items, and preparing kitchen-related items. We're looking for someone eager to learn and improve restaurant-related skills. Applicants with fast-paced restaurant experience (e.g., Chipotle, McDonald's, etc.) are highly encouraged to apply. Management will provide routine training for all skills levels.

There is no open flame cooking. However, you should be comfortable using a flattop, broiler, fryer, and sandwich press depending on your daily position. We have four kitchen positions: Expo, Fryers, Bowls, and Wraps. Ideally, all team members can handle multiple roles.
