Shearer Autobody is seeking a reliable individual to prep vehicles and assist with other tasks in our busy autobody shop. The candidate will be responsible for cleaning cars, assisting shop staff, retrieving parts, moving vehicles, cleaning, and other duties assigned.
Must have a valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license.
Job Requirements:
- Wash and clean vehicles using hoses, vacuums, wash cloths, and appropriate cleaning materials to bring about the best possible finished product.
- Uses specific techniques to clean and detail vehicles to a high standard.
- Assist other shop personnel as needed with various tasks.
- Move vehicles.
- Work closely with personnel across the organization to help foster a positive teamwork environment.
- Maintain a clean workspace.
- The ability to be thorough and ensure that the final product meets set standards is a must.
- Must be able to perform general manual labor, which at times can be physical demanding
- Have the ability to work in wet conditions, which may also contain one or more of the following: Noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, other hazardous and non-hazardous materials, and potentially extreme heat and/or cold during certain times of the year.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.
