Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair, with a keen eye for detail and excellent customer service skills. As a Body Shop Estimator, you will play a crucial role in assessing vehicle damage, preparing estimates, insurance supplements, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair process as well as communicating with insurance companies.

Duties

Assess vehicle damage and determine necessary repairs to provide accurate estimates. Communicate effectively with customers to explain the repair process and answer any questions. Utilize knowledge of automotive repair to create comprehensive estimates. Collaborate with body technicians to ensure all repairs are completed to the highest standards. Handle cash transactions efficiently and accurately while maintaining records of all estimates and repairs. Upsell additional services when appropriate to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales. Order Parts

Qualifications

Proven experience in automotive repair estimation Strong understanding of body shop operations and estimating processes. Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and how to communicate process with insurance companies to ensure a smooth start to finish. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with customers. Experience in part ordering. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A valid driver's license is required. Familiarity with dealership environments is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
