Job Description

As a Rigger at Parks Marina, you will enjoy excellent pay(based on experience) as well as the opportunity to work on rigging new pontoons, boats and trailers as well as work on our used inventory. The position is and entry to mid-level position with excellent opportunities for growth.

The Rigger position is a key component in the service department's customer satisfaction. The position-holder is responsible for prepping new boats for customers as they arrive from the factory.

The successful candidate will be able to:

Rig, test and quality control on all components of a pontoon, boat and trailer Prepare new units for customer pickup Prepare used units for customer pickup Perform light routine maintenance on all types of marine vehicles Drill holes, attach brackets, and install accessories including lights, batteries, switches, using hand tools and power tools. Clean and detail boats. Services include, washing, waxing, buffing, vacuuming, etc. Maintain a clean and tidy work area
Qualifications

Applicant must have valid drivers license Ability to learn on the job Knowledge and practice of basic shop safety procedures Detail oriented while maintaining high productivity
Working Conditions

Shop environment that may require kneeling, bending, climbing, twisting, and lifting heavy objects. 5 day work week

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting $18.00 - $22.00+ per hour

Expected hours:

40 per week (Winter season) 40 per week plus unlimited overtime (Summer season)
