Responsibilities



Read and interpret detailed schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide assembly processes. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to ensure components meet strict specifications. Fabricate and assemble boat components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machining techniques. Perform welding tasks to join metal parts securely, ensuring structural integrity and safety compliance. Conduct fabrication tasks involving cutting, shaping, drilling, and fitting materials according to project requirements. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to transport raw materials and finished products within the facility. Solder electrical wiring and components as needed for integrated systems within the boats. Read schematics thoroughly to troubleshoot issues during assembly or fabrication stages. Maintain a clean and organized workspace adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members on assembly line processes to meet production deadlines efficiently. Assist in quality control inspections by verifying dimensions with precision measuring instruments and ensuring adherence to blueprints. Support warehouse operations by managing inventory of parts, tools, and materials necessary for boat construction.

Skills



Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing or assembly environments. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, machining tools, and soldering stations. Expertise in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Skilled in fabricating parts through cutting, shaping, drilling, welding, and machining techniques. Experience operating forklifts safely within a warehouse or manufacturing setting. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for quality assurance. Knowledge of welding standards and procedures for metal fabrication tasks. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions precisely. Good understanding of warehouse operations including inventory management and material handling. Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
