Develop comprehensive behavioral intervention plans tailored to each client's unique needs, focusing on skill acquisition and reducing challenging behaviors.
Conduct patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and intake interviews, to establish baseline functioning and treatment goals.
Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques, utilizing data collection methods to monitor progress and adjust interventions accordingly.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of treatment strategies across settings.
Maintain accurate medical records, documenting all patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment updates in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and support staff to uphold high standards of patient care and fidelity to treatment protocols.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral health practices, and relevant medical terminology.
Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder.
Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, data collection methods, and applied behavior analysis principles.
Ability to perform patient assessments, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
Familiarity with medical documentation standards, HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology related to behavioral health.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, educators, healthcare professionals, and team members.
