Job Summary


We are a brand new company, looking to hire a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with autism and other behavioral challenges. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, and providing guidance to staff and families to promote positive behavioral outcomes.

Responsibilities



Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral needs and develop effective treatment plans. Implement evidence-based interventions based on applied behavior analysis principles. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including educators and healthcare professionals, to support patient care. Provide training and support to staff on behavioral strategies and interventions. Engage with families to educate them on treatment goals and strategies for reinforcing positive behaviors at home. Stay current with developments in the field of behavioral health and special education.

Skills



Proficient in applied behavior analysis techniques and methodologies. Strong understanding of medical terminology related to behavioral health. Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum or those with similar developmental challenges. Knowledge of special education practices and regulations. Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients' needs. Ability to assess patient behaviors effectively and develop tailored intervention strategies. Familiarity with maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members, patients, and families.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
